Map Overview
Fallen empire is set up very evenly. This is probably the most evenly based map for 2vs2 on Command and Conquer Generals. The map has eight total supplies on it four on the bottom and four on the top. This way that each team has same amount of supplies this is the main reason that this map is the most played 2vs2 map on Generals is because of how even it is set up. The supplies are located one at the middle and back in between you and your partner. One where you start out at by your Command Center. Then in the front in between you and your Teammate there is also a supply there. That supply in the front of you and your opponent is probably the most important part in Fallen empire if you want to win you almost have to kill your opponents front supply for they will have to much income. Also, on Fallen Empire there are only two entrances to each base that way it is much easier to guard your base one entrance on the left side and one entrance on the right. In the middle of the map there is a big bridge that has a lot of half loops in it where your units can go through. On the very left in the middle there is one entrance many people like to flank and attack or sneak in units from that location the same is for the left side of the bridge. Some important parts on Fallen Empire are bye your front supply is probably the most important to keep your front supply for as long as you can through the game. Also, another important part of the map is the outside entrance to your base you must always keep that guarded especially in cases like USA vs. China, CHINA may just stick a gat there and sit and kill your Chinooks. Your entrances are another huge part especially if you let a Gatling cannon or something in and then it kills all of your supplies then you run out of money and it can cost you the game.

Important locations of defenses : Fallen Empire requires a lot of defense and then counter with offense.


GLAAttached Image

GLA is the easiest army to defend with. Almost always you will find a GLA putting a tunnel on each entrance (the little hills) or sometimes in GLA vs. CHINA they will put dual tunnels incase of very hard gat tank hunters. Another popular place for GLA tunnels are at their partners front supply say you have a team of GLA and CHINA almost always the GLA will come tunnel at the front supply that way the china can hold that supply and the GLA is there to help. Another popular place for tunnels are in the back sup because incase any units get through they will be killed.
Another popular place for GLA defense is in their partners base incase their partner is in trouble then they can send units to help. Demo traps can also be very helpful in defending as GLA putting them in front of tunnels killing flamers Gatling cannons and more.

Defense Spots

Those are two spots that GLA must defend. That is one way to defend them. By going dual Tunnel. This helps prevent something such as Gatling cannon tank hunter rush.

This is where GLA should make a tunnel at the front supply if their teamate is taking unsafe.

There is another way to defend. One tunnel on each side. It is better for your economy saving you 1600$ dollars but then you have to worry about your defenses more. Also if you go dual tunnel you can only afford one supply with this strategy you can make two supplies.


USA Attached Image

USA is probably the hardest to defend for because of the constant of trying to keep your Chinooks safe. The outside entrance of any USA player is very important in USA vs. CHINA because the china will bring Gatling cannons up and fire up at your Chinooks killing them while you don’t even notice. To counter that you will want to send paladins to the small entrance also make sure and put them on guard mode right before the bridge its the best place to put them that way the gats don’t even get close to your Chinooks. The inside entrance for USA is also very important to defend because if your opponent sneaks anything in like a tech RPG they will dozer hunt you and you will have no dozers which is very difficult to play without any dozers. Another thing to watch for on the inside entrance is a Gatling cannon that is one of CHINA’S favorite places to send Gatling cannons they can easily sneak them through there. Then when Gatling cannons get through they will own everything and are very annoying to hunt down and kill because of their speed.

That is where USA must be very careful vs GLA and CHINA when defending this spot. GLA can sneak technicals through here and then CHINA can set a Gatling cannon there and kill your Chinooks.

Where you should place a paladin. This will stop a Gatling cannon from killing your supplies along with many other units that they try to sneak in.

Another good place to put a paladin. You can stop them from attacking you here by sticking a paladin there. These are the two main spots to watch out for as USA.


CHINAAttached Image

CHINA is the second next easiest army to defend with only behind the great defensive king GLA. CHINA is known for their bunkers when you are playing CHINA you need to watch your flanks some people even bunker the outside entrance which is a good move that way you can focus more on your micro and attacking then defending your flank. Mines, mines , mines are some of the greatest defense that china has especially against GLA. Most good china players against GLA and USA mine their supply centers and their war factories especially against GLA. Migs are a great defense to most people build migs in the back of their base on Fallen Empire because they are so hard to reach there. Migs can be used on guard mode to stop Tech Terrors and also to kill scorpion tanks possibly the most effective unit vs. GLA in the whole game.

This is one way to guard your flank. Probably the lamest way but yet the most secure way fill the bunker full of tank hunters and then mine it if you are vs GLA. Having a bunker there leaves you with only one other critical part of the map to guard.

Migs are very useful vs GLA to stop tech terrors. They can also be used against USA to fight off a Colonel burton and almost any USA unit. They should be used on guard mode like this vs GLA. Migs you can also use to harrass GLA's supplies.

Mines are very useful vs almost any army. They can be used to protect from tech terrors, Colonel Burton, and any unit by your supply center they will kill. Mines are to be used most vs GLA because GLA tries to harrass supplies the most out of any army.


CHINA on Fallen EmpireAttached Image

Dual War Factory
Dual War Factory is mainly used in the matchup of CHINA vs. CHINA. This strategy is meant for you to over run your opponent and out spam him. The first thing you do is build a Power Plant then two Supply Centers after your Supply Centers are done then you make two War Factories. Once you have completed all of your buildings from each war factory make One Battle master ( tank) and send them to the middle and repeat this. Also once you have a nice Battle master army then you need to make some Gatling cannons here and there that way you can protect yourself from Tank Hunters. Also send Battle masters to flanks to guard them. Once attacking your opponent and driving him back do not forget to tech up or buy the Propaganda center. The Propaganda center is a very critical part of a CHINA vs. CHINA


Fast Tech
Fast tech is used mainly for the matchup of CHINA vs. CHINA. This strategy is meant for you to get better units then your opponent faster and then be able to out power him in the fact you have better units. First thing you do is make a power plant and then two supply centers just like in dual War Factory once you have completed those you make one War Factory and then once your war factory is done make a Propaganda center. Send a Battle master to each hill or opening where your opponents might attack you will also need to make a Barracks. Once your Propaganda center is complete then you make a Black Lotus and then start making Overlords , Nuke cannons and other great units to own your opponent with. This strategy takes a lot of micro so if you play this strategy make sure you know how to micro Battle masters.


Gat Tank Hunter
This strategy is mainly used against USA and GLA the point of this strategy is to out spam your opponent. This is a good strategy for people with not the best micro in the world J. First you make a Power Plant after that is done make a Barracks somewhere close to the inside hill of your base and then make a Supply Center. Once your Barracks and Supply Center are done then make a War Factory and another Supply Center. Out of the Barracks you need to produce two Red guards to prevent Terrorist from killing your things. Once you have done this then out of your War Factory you need to produce Gatling cannons and out of the barracks make Tank Hunters. Once you have many Gatling cannons and Tank Hunters. Then you make more Barracks so you can make even more Tank Hunters and gats just repeat this over and over.

USA on Fallen EmpireAttached Image

There’s already a complete USA strategy and build order guide for this so I am not going to get into that. This will just going to provide some useful tips and explain mistakes to avoid. Link to the USA strategy guide for Fallen Empire

1. USA should always play the side with the safe supplies closer, and USA should never play the unsafe supply. In the case of a dual USA team, one USA should go two supplies, the other just 1, with a nook gathering from safe.

2 USA is an easy target on FE. Therefore you always want to double whoever is across from the USA, unless there is another USA across from your ally. In that case double him.

3 Place a barracks from next to the front supply over to the edge of the cliff. This will prevent any entering units from quickly wrapping around the supplies and parking there to harass nooks.

4 Never fight with MDs over cliff at the front of your base, or across the bridge. These obstacles are great for techs/gats/humvees to fight from and they greatly reduce the efficiency of your laser lock. This goes both ways though, these things can be great aids to your paladins and humvees.

5 When pat dropping against china keep in mind that china can stop building their supply and move it to the other side of the supply dock making your patriot useless. They cannot do this as efficiently on td, so make sure not to start the patriot until you are certain china will finish building their supply.

6 When pat dropping USA always build the patriot by the safe supply. The only way they will ever stop it is dropping missile defenders on it, since USA almost never makes a barracks at the start near the safe supply. You have a much better chance of your patriot getting stopped if you build it by their primary supply.

7 Always build back in your base, there are very few strategies that require you to have your barracks and war factory up close to the edge. This gives you more time to laser lock and takes a gat thank hunter longer to reach you. Flat ground is an MDs best friend.

GLA vs CHINA
When you are against CHINA with GLA on Fallen Empire, here is a strategy that u may not know about and want to do : Dual Arms Dealer, taking the SAFE supplies. This is not recommended if you partner is USA, since they need the protected supplies more then you do. But if your partner is GLA or China, this strategy can be really surprising and you can kill them in minutes if microed correctly! Build order for this is: 1st worker supply, second worker heads to safe supply. Send 3rd worker from Command Center in a hidden spot, at the edge on whatever corner you are on to build a barracks, which the Chinas almost always won’t see because they go through middle. With this barracks, you may be able to get some supply trucks and you will definitely annoy the china. (Terrorist in front of war fact if your lucky, etc) . Send 4th worker on the entrance closest to the safe supply, he will be used to build a demo trap when the AD is built. 5th worker and the worker that is dun with the first supply(make sure you purchase some workers from your supplies as well, and then sell your command center.) needs to set up 2 Arms dealers, facing the enemy. Use the hotkeys, Ctrl 1 and Ctrl 2 to label your Arms Dealers and make it easier for you to build without going all the way back to your base. Then, when your 2 arms dealers are up, immediately build a demo trap at the entrance that is farthest from your main supply and get a technical from one ad, a scorpion from the other. Send the technical out to scout and kill some of the walking Tank Hunters in the process. After the technical is built, purchase the scorpion rocket upgrade from that arms dealer, and build another scorpion tank from the other arms dealer. Make sure you kill any incoming first dragon or Gatling tanks with the 2 scorpions, because that is the greatest danger to your strategy. After you kill a tank, send your technical to get scrapped up and heal if he needs to, or if he died buy another technical to get the scraps. Spam a bunch of scorpion tanks after the rocket upgrade is finished, and use the “hit ‘n’ run” tactic if he is trying to gat/tank hunter you hard. Send a scorpion tank to his units, attack with rocket, retreat, and repeat. This will wear down on his forces so much that you should eventually break through into the middle, and then, his base.
P.S. ~ if your ally is struggling, use some of your tank to help him out. You should have a lot from the 2 arms dealers.

GLA vs USA
GLA vs USA now…. Well here we go. I personally like the strategy, 3 tunnels (1 by your first supply, 1 at entrance to secondary supply(if u have safe) or 2 tunnels at your main supply and 1 at unsafe ( if u don’t take a secondary supply, which is totally up to you, build 3rd tunnel in partners base. First slave build barracks, second slave build supply, 3rd slave starts second supply or tunnel if you are going 1 supply (1 supply can be better if ur ally is USA;USA needs the safe money more then you do.) . If you place it right, you may get the spy drone that’s over your base if they put one there! 4th slave starts his way to the far tunnel, whether that be near your second supply or your partners base. 5th slave starts another tunnel by your main base. With the first barracks you built. Build 2 terrorists and send 1 to middle and 1 to USA’s base. The terror can annoy him if he went strictly air. After supply is built, hurry and build an arms dealer and build some rocket troop from your barracks. What you are working at is a really fast dual tech/rpg/2 slave rush. When you get 2 techs out from your ad, put 4 rocket troop and 1 slave in each and charge his base! Micro well enough and you should do some major damage. Don’t rely on this alone however, you need to keep building techs and quads if you need to. Btw, make sure you sell your command center when done with it!

GLA vs GLA
In GLA vs GLA, there are some key things you need to do. Build barracks first and send 2 terrorists to middle supplies, to see what you can kill there. 2nd slave needs to build supply depot and 3rd slave needs to go to other supply if, once again, you take one.. If your not taking one, send that slave to the middle and build a tunnel by your partners supplies. If u do take a 2nd supply send the slave that had built the barracks to build a tunnel in middle. Basically after you build those first 2 terrorists, build 2 more and put them on guard on the edge of your base. Build a tunnel on the other very edge of the entrance to your base, so if they try to get in with a tech fast, they will either crash into a terrorist or into your tunnel. Build another tunnel on other side and do the same thing with the terrorist. Put the 6 rocket troop you get from the tunnels on guard in a spread out formation near the middle. This way, you have a chance of hurting a technical that tried to go to your partner. After the 4 terrorists, build 5 more and your arms dealer should be done around when the terrorists are being created. From your arms dealer, build a technical immediately. When that technical is done, load all 5 terrorists into it and approach the enemy GLA’s base. Be VERY careful when approaching his base, for he will probably have the same terrorists on guard. If u think you can get in, by all means, do so. If you think it is too well guarded, send your technical back and send it to your partners enemy’s base. After this rush is done with some micro. Build 2 scorpions, put on guard in the middle and upgrade scorpion rocket. After you are done with this, spam scorpion tanks and micro your way to victory! Palace may be needed if it’s a long game.

The top Combos on Fallen Empire

This is the list of the top 1-5 army combos on Fallen Empire in my opinion and most players opinions.

1. Would have to be CHINA and USA they can combine Gatling canons with Missile Defenders and make a lethal combination. Also the USA can drop the CHINA opponent making it easy for the CHINA to defeat their opponent.

2. Most people will not agree with this but i would have to say GLA and GLA. This is because of the pressure that GLA can apply to their opponents economy. Combined with some tech terrors and a scorpion spam with dozer hunt can be possibly the most lethal combo if played right.

3. CHINA and CHINA would have to be put up near the top. It is just easy to see how dual CHINA can own. They are just such an overpowering army.

4. GLA and CHINA this combo is made lethal because of the way the CHINA can control most of the game. Then why CHINA is controlling the GLA can become strong with getting a scorpion tank spam and then also harrassing the CHINA opponents.

5. USA and GLA this combo is on edge if played right can be great if played wrong it can get you bashed in five minutes. The USA can dual barracks and then with the GLA harrassing his opponent constantly can get strong. Then combine to finish GLA's opponent.
