Stop me from failing

Hi everyone.

I've decided to post this replay in particular as it shows me at my absolute worst. You won't believe it from what you see but I have won games before.

I want your advice to stop me from being this bad at CoH. I love the Brits so I especially want to raise my game with them, but general tips are also welcome.

This replay is exceptional in that I:
Built mortar pits in weird places.
Gave up about halfway through and just moved all infantry as one blob.
Which I wouldn't normally do, so you can probably ignore those

Otherwise please criticise me and offer advice.

My only comment is that 3vs3 is a bad place to learn personal skills, 1vs1 would definitely serve you better there.

Yea 3 vs 3 really depends on you teammates rather than you yourself. So if you don't know you teammates.. well then lets just hope you have more experience than the other team.

OK then, here's a 1v1 against someone who's not very good which shows how I would normally play.

Advice appreciated.

In general, you need to:
1) Lessen idle units
2) Prevent floating resources

You had many many units idling when he could have been doing something.
For example, you had 2 tommi squads sitting by the captured points, doing nothing. They could have moved on to another resource point, dug trench, etc... Or, you had a sapper unit not repairing your tanks, but instead just idling.

You also had a lot of floating resources.

Lastly, you shouldn't spread your emplacements that much. Lone emplacements (mortar, 17 pounder, etc...) are good target for schrecks and pio flamers.
