Act of War: Direct Action

Hi. I'm looking for a cool RTS with lots of replay value and if someone could point one out to me I would really appreciate it. Now graphics aren't the most important to me but I don't want anything in 2D either.
The ideal would be something like CoH or Act of War. Space Sim are good to.

PS: Also would like the game to have base building (sorta like CoH and Act of War) but if its a good game I just it'll be good to. I just want to hear your suggestions ^^

Hmm, I would suggest you have a look at

DoW2

The campaign is more of a tactic RPG game with managing about 6 squads of up to 4 men. You get experience and find items you have to share carewfully before every mission. Nice campaign though you can only play 1 faction (space marines).

Multiplayer rocks. You can chose all 4 factions and then 1 of 3 commanders as main character. No base building, you get your units from ordering of the HQ. As in CoH you have to capture resource points and also cover and damag zones are available.
Surely one of the best RTS games released recently.

AoW: Direct Action had a cool single player with cool movies I liked that. There's probably no mutli community now though.

You just have to be smart and realize whats the busy time on lobby. I started in november 2008 and had more than 100 hours put into it. Hundreds of games of all types, FFA, 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3 etc... I just played today several games in DA

HT have a more active community, but DA still lives on as well and there some great players from the old days still playing

Hmm. thats cool that people are still around. Is there 20 or so?

You mentioned some of the best RTS out there.

First one I could mention is Age of Mythology series, which is an older game. Reminds me of CoH with the different factions for each race. Game design has most of the units being hard counters to other types, so there is no one unit spam (C&C tank spam) mess going on.

Another one, which I play a great deal, is Star Trek Armada II with the Fleet Operations Mod (Ver 3.0.7). Alot of work on upgrading the graphics and gameplay have gone into it. It can be found here:
