Yeah, guess you're right. But after my angry rant when the last tournament got cancelled I couldn't bear the shame of having to forfeit a match because of scheduling issues The first week is quite packed because of Christmas and tings. Have *you* bought all your presents yet?
I guess its time to reach out to friends and the friend's list people in game. Get them to register. Although, I think it is also important to notify them on checking in. Last time that part did not go well.

I didn't buy all my gifts yet... But that is why we have the Internet right? Due to the fairly easy scheduling, i am really looking forward to this tournament

Unfortunately I can't play in this, I wont be at my own PC for the whole week this is taking place 27th onwards I'm back in full force for two weeks before my PT course resumes.
There are still many people who I contacted today and wanna play in the tournament, but for some reason are forgetful or lazy to register. That discipline...
Even if half of the staff itself is participating, still one mandatory player is missing yet... Take your chance, sign up and make sure to have some fun with AoA over the next few weeks! =)
I created the brackets for round 1, you can check them out at http://aoareplays.challonge.com/AoD4. You are now allowed to play your matches for round 1 (Remember that each round lasts one week, post your results in here and upload your replays in the replaysection).
Good luck, have fun all! If you got any trouble during the tournament don't hesitate to contact one of the referee's.
Final results:
All replays can be found in the event section.
