Description

The Viking fighter is a relative of the Thor, being a mechanized unit but that is where the similarities end. This unit is the Starcraft form of the transformer being able to reconfigure itself from a walking robot to a flying craft. One can imagine the devastating raids this unit could be used in. When on the ground this unit fights with a Gatling gun, functioning primarily as a ground-attack unit that is devastating against infantry. With the appropriate upgrade however, this unit can go through its transformation into an aerial fighter unit that utilizes missiles to devastate other aerial targets. Skillful changing of modes would also allow the Viking to make assaults up cliffs by entering with flier mode and then transforming back into walker mode to devastate an enemy supply line, as well as escape specific anti-ground/anti-air fire by switching to the appropriate mode.
