Playing against Gondor as Rohan last night (19:08 GMT according to replay timestamp) on Westfold. Opponent LordOfTheRink12 I think.
All going to plan - most of the map controlled - nice rohirrim / horse archers / L4 Theoden.
Early ents - wall goes down - there he is Gandalf The White. In the process of splitting the 4 'free' ents in opposite directions when the first flickers of the inevitable lightning strike just starts to appear and......
FFFFFZZZZ.......
Dark screen - lights off - TV off in the other room - all power gone in the house......
Followed by a mighty crack of thunder !! No more power that night and a two hour electrical storm to sit through.
Was this real-world interaction part of the 1.02 patch - if so I think we should be told.
Whatever next? Saruman's fireball setting the curtains on fire? Hobbit rocks knocking over my alcohol? At least on the plus side I wont have to worry about the Denethor boys - they might disturb the dust on the keyboard but that's about it!
