After a long time without any new Hall of Fame replays, the Gondor vs Rohan Clanwars match between Veermarck and Strategy Specialist and Expert Player Axcell has been promoted to the Hall of Fame.
It is a long way for a replay until it can be moved to the Hall of Fame. Firstly, the replay needs to achieve at least 12 Wubs. A poll topic will then be started in the BfME General Discussion forum. If at least 70% of all votes in this poll are Yes-Votes, the replay will be moved to the Hall of Fame.
Read the newspost about the start of the Hall of Fame poll for the match between Veermarck and Axcell for a description of the game. The poll led to 12 votes in favor of the replay becoming a Hall of Fame replay and 5 votes against it. That is 73.68%, which was just enough for a move into the Hall of Fame. The combination of good skill and entertainment level is what made the majority vote Yes.
There was a controversial discussion about the requirements of Hall of Fame replays in the poll topic. The fact that this is only the third Hall of Fame replay submitted within the last 2 years shows how hard it is to enter the Hall of Fame. Therefore a Gold replay medal was handed out to both players.
