World Builder Challenge
starting on Monday, November 24th 2014.

I'm very excited about this. Zypherbullet and I are not going to submit maps, since we are going to help by being judges in the challenge, so don't think you don't have a chance to win.

I know many people in this community have excellent ideas for great maps. So this is the perfect time to turn those ideas into reality. I'm looking forward to play in your new maps. Good luck for everyone! thumb.gif

@luvaskot For this challenge you will have to make a new map completely in the time provided. I will have to check up on the TW maps for you quickly, because it can be a bit of a pain to convert the map to KW format some times.

I have to try install the worldbuilder again last time it didn't work. But if it works, sign me up for this very interesting competition. Any kind of map is allowed, 1v1, 2v2 etc.?

Edit: I was able to install the world builder so sign me up definitely.

Details for the map will be revealed at a later time. Use the meantime to get your gear up and maybe familiarize yourself with the newly added tga files (if you have not done so already). My guide will be up soon, so you may want to check that out too.

I tried out the worldbuilder after a long time not using, but after I saved the map, I cant reopen it with the worldbuilder. I can see the "fisical" file, but the Worldbuilder cannot open it somehow. It does nothing with it. Does anyone know how to fix it? I believe that moving the file works, but that didnt work this time.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it? Also make sure to have it installed in your Kane's Wrath game directory.

Your map folder should have a mapname.map, mapname.tga, map.xml and overrides.xml.

What is the map size in terms of kb?

Also try to open the map by doubleclicking the mapname.map file. This should work from any directory.
