Moduwar RTS Announced

By FallenXE - 20th May 2020 - 16:02 PM

Developer Biohex Games have come up with an interesting twist to the RTS genre with their upcoming game, Moduwar, slated for release this year. In the game, players take control of an alien creature called a Modu that has the ability to develop different organs, or to split and merge their constituent parts which allows you to have a varied playstyle each time.

The game is currently available on Steam in Early Access and the developers are targeting a Q3 release this year. In the meantime, you can show your interest by adding the game to your wish list on Steam!

As it is, the Early Access of the game provides you with :
  • 4 Story Campaign levels
  • 10 different units (organs) to build
  • 6 different NPC creatures to fight against beside your enemies army
  • Multiplayer mode with 2-4 players in a match
  • Monster Arena and Skirmish modes

In addition to that, in a GameReplays exclusive, Alon Kaplan - CEO of Biohex Games - has informed us that the multiplayer is going to have a neat option in 2v2 matches where the two players of the same team can control the same army instead of 2 different armies. In this way, one player would be able to focus on the battle while the other one can focus solely on economics and building. This opens up new possibilities for strategies that would require a deeper level of connection and teamwork between the players.

On top of that, Biohex Games are also currently inviting gamers to join them once a week to test out the game's multiplayer mode.

For more information on the multiplayer test and on the game, do head over to their Discord channel!

We look forward to hearing more news on the development of Moduwar in the future!
